Community ProgramsBeing a good neighbor is part of our mission at American Water. We are dedicated to Tennessee and do make sure we show it. We give back to the community by supporting local schools and organizations like the United Way and the Tennessee Aquarium. We support innovative, environmental programs that improve, protect or restore drinking water supplies and surrounding watersheds, as well educate Tennesseans about the value and importance of water.
The Tennessee Aquarium We alsp support community low-income customers through the H20 Help to Others Program®. Customers who qualify may receive discounted service, grants of up to $500, and water saving devices and education on how to use water wisely.
